Lin Wan Co-Founder/Chief Technology Officer, Stella Technology
Lin Wan is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Stella Technology, a healthcare information technology start-up assisting healthcare professionals, hospitals and communities in solving their care coordination, physician collaboration and systems integration challenges through innovative products and services.
A seasoned technologist with 15 years of experience in healthcare software development, she has a track record of successfully leading the design and development of interoperable healthcare solutions. As Director of Engineering at Axolotl, a company credited for creating the health information exchange (HIE) space, Lin led the development of Axolotl's Elysium product suite, including the HIE platform, Clinical Messaging®, EMR/EHR, order entry, eRx, public health reporting and analytics applications. In her position as Director of Product Strategy at OptumInsight, a UnitedHealth Group company, Lin played a key role in designing Optum's next generation healthcare cloud platform.
Lin is an expert on healthcare interoperability standards (such as HL7, CCD/CDA, IHE, Healtheway and Direct), and has been a key contributor to specifications published by federal and state interoperability initiatives, including NwHIN, Direct, ONC S&I Framework, New York eHealth Collaborative and the EHR|HIE Interoperability Workgroup.
Lin has a Ph.D. in Physics from Princeton University, a B.S. from University of Texas at Dallas and a B.A. from Peking University.
