Doctor Elizabeth Xu is now responsible for BMC (the world’s largest IT management software company) service support, R&D of Remedy produce line, and client management. She is founder and president of Silicon Valley Innovation Academy and Business Innovation Center. She was VP of Acxiom (largest big data company in US) leading R&D of big data products. Prior to joining Acxiom, Doctor Xu served as SVP of global product development at Rearden Commerce, RMS and Vitria Technology. Dr. Xu’s career also includes several years at IBM developing the IBM Content Management Suite and DB2. Through past years, Doctor Xu has been passionate about helping engineers in Silicon Valley improve their leadership skills. She teaches “Ten Steps to a Successful Career” for Stanford Continuing Studies, and founded the Successful Women Acceleration Network (SWAN). In 2013, Doctor Xu was awarded with four Stevie Award, including Female executive of the year - business products - more than 2500 employees, Female executive of the year - consumer services - more than 2500 employees, 2013 women help women award and coach and mentor of the year.
