TV Presenter/Producer/Entrepreneur/Investor

Ms. Vivi Lin is an award-winning TV personality, producer and presenter. She is currently global partner of China’s leading blockchain media Mars Finance and incubator Consensus Lab, helping the group to develop its global ecosystem and invest in blockchain startups.

She is also founder of new media venture VIVI Media Group, which partners with Hollywood- based Filmon TV and serves to connect the world's top innovators and their products/services with China, by providing services including media exposure, marketing solutions, investor relations and partnership assistance. She is the executive producer and presenter for innovation show “Vivi in the Valley” and blockchain-focused show “Vivi on the Block”, telling stories of the world's top innovators to China's startup and venture capital audiences. Episodes of the shows have aired on China's top media, including China's most prominent financial media Caixin Media, know as China's New York Times and Iqiyi, China’s answer to Netflix. The shows have received tens of million views. Prior to that, she was TV presenter and producer for Reuters TV, reporting on China's financial and stock markets for Reuters and their media partners, including China's national television CCTV for their daily segment “Biz Asia” and “CCTV America”. Highlights from Ms. Lin's earlier career include serving as a bilingual business TV presenter and producer for China's most prominent financial media – Caixin Media (known as China’s New York Times) and HK’s ATV World. She also also produced and presented for Reuters Financial TV on China-focused shows including “Inside China”. Ms. Lin also worked with LA-based Chinese TV networks ICN as main producer and presenters for “China Got Talent” TV show. Ms. Lin has hosted numerous world-class summits, including Silicon Valley Mars Blockchain Summit 2018, Silicon Valley Investment & Entrepreneurship Forum in 2016 & 2017; Shanghai International Film & TV Festival in 2015; Ernst & Young China Strategic high Growth Forum in 2014; Caixin Global Summit etc. She has also moderated panels and interviewed business leaders in China and Silicon Valley, including China’s top banking regulator, central bank governor, prominent investors in Silicon Valley.

Ms. Lin's extensive journalistic experience has won her international awards. Her work for coverages on China’s 17th Party Congress, Beijing Olympics, Sichuan earthquake, Tibet riots and global financial crisis have won her some of the most prestigious awards in global journalism, including “Reuters Best Scoop of the Year”, “Reuters TV Best of the Month”, and “Best of the week” awards. She also works as movie producer and actress. “Shanghai Moment” – a short film she scripted, produced and starred in, won the “Best Story” award by International 48 Hours Film Project's Shanghai session. Ms. Lin is a MBA with Manchester Business School, and a Master with Communication University of China. During her school years, her distinctive performance stood out and she was elected as a torchbearer on behalf of Chinese students for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. She also won the national debating competitions and competed on behalf of China in the World Debating Championships in Singapore during 2003-2004. Ms. Lin has also attended a Harvard Asia Research Program (China-Focus) in New York, Reuters Foundation training in Singapore, and professional on-air training by BBC & CNBC in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.
