Yinlong New Energy Co., Ltd. established in 2008，is headquartered in Zhuhai. Since 2009, the company has been committed to researching, developing, producing and selling lithium batteries and related materials. Later, its business extended to the R&D, production and sales of power systems for electric vehicles, whole electric vehicles, intelligent peak load and frequency regulation systems. So far, the company has covered all areas along the industrial chain in the new energy industry.
Since its official entry into the new energy industry in 2008, Yinlong New Energy has successfully developed a series of Yinlong titanium batteries, making new breakthroughs in five major areas, namely the safety of the batteries, the temperature range suitable for the batteries, fast recharging and discharging of the batteries, life expectancies of the batteries, and industrialization of the batteries. Currently, Yinlong batteries can be recharged and discharged in just six minutes. Moreover, boasting a life expectancy of over 30 years, they can withstand temperatures from -50℃ to 60℃. With high safety standards and high energy efficiency, Yinlong batteries have gained great popularity among customers, including a number of globally renowned enterprises, such as AES, INE, Bombardier, Vestas, Ford, Proterra, Amberjac Projects, BAE Systems, State Grid Corporation of China, China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd., CRRC, and Shenhua Group. Along with its constantly rising popularity, Yinlong batteries have made a formidable presence in such areas as new energy vehicles, power storage for families, industries, and military use.
For nearly a decade, Yinlong New Energy has been making great efforts to improve the energy density of lithium titanate batteries. Currently, its fourth generation lithium titanate batteries have cut their production costs by 40% and improved their energy density by 60% compared with those of their predecessors. In 2016, the company successfully developed hydrogen titanium power assembly, which well integrates the high power density of lithium titanate batteries and the high energy density of fuel cells. The timely appearance of the hydrogen titanium power assembly will solve the pressing problems faced by new energy vehicles at the moment, such as their unsatisfactory continuous driving distance.
As of 2016, Yinlong New Energy had already built Zhuhai Yinlong New Energy Industrial Park, Hebei Wuan Yinlong New Energy Industrial Park, Shijiazhuang Zhongbo Automotive Industrial Park. In Tianjin, Chengdu, Lanzhou, Nanjing, Changsha, and the United States, it had also built its own production bases. In addition, it boasts several research institutions across the world, namely Altair Materials Research Institute in the U.S.A., Yinlong New Energy Power Storage Research Institute, Yinlong New Energy Battery Research Institute, Yinlong New Energy Commercial Vehicle Research Institute, and Yinlong New Energy Passenger Vehicle Research Institute.
Through its innovative business modes, such as “Supply Vehicles Without any Down Payment”, “Rental Services for Ten Years”, “Ten Years Quality Guarantee”, “Whole Vehicle Replacement”, “Win-Win Situationsf or Four Parties”, electric buses manufactured by Yinlong New Energy have made their way to nearly 40 cities across China, such as Beijing, Changsha, Wuhan, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. In 2014, Yinlong electric tour bus appeared on Tiananmen Square and Yinlong electric buses were also designated as the official carriers for the 22nd APEC Meetings in Beijing. In 2016, Yinlong 12-meter electric double-deckers became the designated vehicle for the second Sino-U.S. Low-Carbon Summit. In July in the same year, they were put into service on China’s first electric tour bus route. In November, Yinlong electric buses were selected as the reception vehicles for the 11th China International Aviation Expo and the 8th China International Aeronautics and Astronautics Forum.
So far, Yinlong New Energy has won a number of awards and titles, such as China’s Trustworthy Products, Guangdong Hi-tech Products, World Bus Award at Busworld Expo, Electric Bus of the Year at the annual China’s Best Commercial Vehicle Voting. In 2015 and 2016, Yinlong New Energy was recognized as the Top 500 in the world’s new energy industry. In 2016, Yinlong titanium technologies won the most-wanted Bluesky Award from UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization). In December 2016, Yinlong “Nano Lithium Titanate Battery Technology” was recognized as the world’s leading technology in the industry.
