Han Shen is the Founding Partner of iFly.vc, a VC fund based in the San Francisco Bay Area. With a robust thesis driven investment approach, iFly.vc focuses on building a concentrated portfolio with real value add. Starting in 2009, Han’s VC investment experience has covered a number of sectors. He led or contributed to the investment in Oculus (acquired by Facebook), Motive Drilling (acquired by Helmerich & Payne), Taxon (acquired by DuPont), AlertMe (acquired by British Gas), etc. Han’s past nineteen years of experiences in the US evolved across R&D, technology innovation, corporate strategy, and M&A. Prior to iFly.vc, Han worked for Formation 8, VantagePoint Capital Partners , and Rohm and Haas. Han earned his bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University, Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, and MBA from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Han is credited as key investor of four US patents.
