Term and Conditions


SVIEF Code of Conduct

By registering for any SVIEF event you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct - https://svief.org/terms/SVIEFCodeofConduct.doc Violations of this policy could result in ejection from the event and revoking of credentials without reimbursement.


Photo/Video Policy

By registering for this event and entering the event area, you expressly give your consent to SVIEF and its affiliates, the perpetual right and permission to copyright and use recordings (including live streaming) and photographic portraits or pictures of you, without compensation, wholly intact or in part, through any and all media now or hereafter known or invented, for illustration, art, promotion, advertising, trade, or any other purpose and you release SVIEF its affiliates, successors, assigns and licensees from any liability whatsoever of any nature in regard thereto.


Sponsor Data Collection at Events

By registering for a SVIEF event, you are expressly consenting to providing your registration data and event-related data to SVIEF sponsors. The attendee data shared will be used in accordance with each individual sponsor's Privacy Policy.


Ticket & Badge Policy

By registering for SVIEF event, you agree that each pass is applicable to the single person registered for that pass and that a badge reprinting fee will be assessed for any lost/stolen badges (if applicable).
The first and last name on badge/ticket must match the name on badge holder/ticket holder’s government-issued photo ID. All attendees are required to have their government-issued photo ID on them at all times during the event (not just during registration). If at any time, the name on the badge does not match the name on the ID, access to the event may be revoked with no refund.
Badges are the property of SVIEF and can be confiscated at any time.


Attendees Who Are Minors Policy

Attendees who are minors (persons younger than 18 years old) must be accompanied at all times by an adult who is 18 years or older and who can take legal responsibility for the minor. The SVIEF ticket and badge policy applies to minors. Please note that some events/parties are only accessible to attendees who are 21 and over.
Some event content may contain mature themes (such as sex, violence, and drug use) that may not be suitable for minors. Adult chaperones are responsible for managing and reviewing content/themes to see if it is suitable for their accompanied minors before, during, and/or after the event.


Cancellation/Refund Policy

The cancellation for your event is listed on the specific event website and directly on your ticket. Please refer there for the cancellation/refund policy for the specific event you are attending. If you are unable to attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to someone else by following the instructions on the ticket that was emailed to you.


Liability/Injury Waiver

Marketing Emails & Sponsor Communications

By registering for this event, you agree that SVIEF and its sponsors may contact you via email with information about future SVIEF events, other SVIEF products and services and sponsor promotions. If you decide you no longer wish to receive such communications, you may OPT OUT at any time from those emails.
